About MEOW

MEOW was created by CEO Dr. Edward A. Grossenbacher after 38 years of experience in the IME industry. Being an IME physician with extensive knowledge of what makes a professional and efficient IME company, Dr. Grossenbacher and Tessa Gold established Medical Evaluations of Oregon-Washington, LLC in 2009.

Dr. Edward Grossenbacher - CEO

Dr. Edward A. Grossenbacher, an Oregon native, received his medical degree from The University of Oregon Medical School and his surgical training in Orthopedic Surgery from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He served in the United States Army as a flight surgeon, and received honorable recognition from his service in the Vietnam War. Dr. Grossenbacher has been in private practice in the Portland area since 1971 and has been involved in the IME field for 38 years. He is a member of the Oregon Medical Association and is board certified in orthopedic surgery.

Tessa K. Gold ‐ Chief Operations Officer/Co‐Owner

Tessa K. Gold attended Washington State University where she majored in Communications with a minor in Business. Tessa has been in the medical arena for eight years now. Her first two years she specialized in medical marketing for bariatric practices. After that, Tessa started her own company called Fuse Consulting, where she acted as an independent medical consultant advising healthcare professionals and private practice groups across the United States. Tessa specialized in assessing practice values, negotiating insurance reimbursement rates, HR assessments and training staff on physician referral marketing techniques. In early 2009 Tessa entered into the medical legal arena and has been actively involved in growing her presence in the medical legal field.

In 2009 Tessa and Dr. Grossenbacher joined their expertise together and established Medical Evaluations of Oregon/Washington LLC dba MEOW.

Tessa was raised in West Linn, Oregon. She is married to her husband Russ and has a daughter named Mia. She also volunteers with a Christian non-profit organization called Divine Threads which provides professional attire and career counseling to disadvantaged women. Tessa enjoys spending time with her family, playing golf, running, cooking, and being involved with her church and local Young Life programs.
